Copyright
applies to the way in which the website and research
have been presented much the same way a book is
protected from unlawful reproduction. It is unlawful to
copy and paste information as it is presented on this
website into an on-line or off-line text unless prior
permission has been granted. Reasonable reproduction,
i.e. for scholastic or personal use, is permitted as
long as source citations and acknowledgments are
provided.
Commercial
use is strictly prohibited.
Details which are deemed to be in the public domain,
i.e. genealogical information, general historical facts,
and or aged documents which no longer violate copyright
law are excluded. These details may be copied and
utilised as per your needs but they may not be
reproduced 'as is'. As copyright applies to the
presentation you will need to reformat the way in which
you personally display the details.
While the general conditions of reproduction may sound
harsh I am actually quite flexible and support the
dissipation of family knowledge. As long as quotes
include the original source details I see no problem. If
in doubt drop me a line and I'll gladly address any
concerns you may have.

Images
appearing on this website are not in the public domain
unless otherwise advised. They have been digitally
rendered for use on this website and carry embedded
watermarks and original source details where applicable.
Hobler descendants are welcome to contact me direct if
they would like a digitised copy of a particular
photograph. Additional photos are available in some
instances.
Note: only digitised copies are available. Originals are
not available to the general public as many of the
photos have been supplied by fellow descendants Liisa
Hobler and Royalene Anderson and, as such, they form
part of their private collection. Applicable details
will be forwarded as per query.

Sourced
quotations appear frequently throughout this website.
Every effort has been made to ensure that proper
permissions have been obtained prior and that correct
source details are in place.
This site is a personal
homepage documenting the life of my ancestor James
Francis Helvetius Hobler. It's purpose is to educate and
to subsequently preserve family history. Quotations have
been adopted based on the principles of fair practice.
That is, on the understanding that it is legally
permissible to quote and source in part another's work
in the interest of education. Copyright is upheld and
unlawful reproduction is certainly not
intentional. Please make contact should you have
any concerns.
